you’ll leave empty-handed (and that’s the point)

don’t just build a life that looks full—build one that feels full.

In partnership with

life is strange.
you arrive with nothing.
you spend your whole life chasing everything.
and you still leave with nothing.

makes you think:
if we all end up empty-handed,
why do we spend so much time gripping things that don’t even matter?

here’s what i realized:

you can stack the money.
you can buy the car.
you can build the resume.

and still feel hollow inside.

this isn’t me telling you to stop chasing.
i’m chasing too.
dreams. goals. milestones.
but there’s a difference between chasing something for your soul
and chasing something just for your hands.

one lasts. the other fades.

when i was younger, i thought winning meant more stuff.
more validation.
more applause.
i thought if i hit the right numbers,
got the right nods from the right people,
i’d finally feel complete.

i didn’t.

what actually stuck with me?
the late-night talks that went too deep.
the risks that scared me but shaped me.
the times i failed so hard it stripped me down and rebuilt me from scratch.

those moments didn’t look “successful” from the outside.
but they gave me something no metric could:
weight in my soul.

that’s when i really started to win.

if you read this far, maybe you’ve felt it too:
that quiet tug that says,
“there’s gotta be more than this.”

and there is.
but you won’t find it on a spreadsheet or in someone else’s approval.
you find it in the way you show up every day—
for yourself, for the people you love,
for the purpose nobody sees but you know is there.

here’s my ask:
today, do one thing that feeds your soul.
not your status. not your ego.
your soul.

call someone you miss.
write down the thing you’ve been scared to admit.
take the risk that’s been haunting you.

because when it’s all said and done,
your hands leave empty.
but your soul?
that’s what you take with you.

“Do the work that feeds your soul, not your ego.”

the rest will follow.
