- they don’t believe in you.
they don’t believe in you.
even the ones you thought would.

sometimes it’s not strangers who doubt you.
it’s the people you thought would cheer the loudest.

and sometimes that’s just how it be.
the ones who raised you.
the ones who said they loved you.
the ones you’d call first if you actually made it.
you tell them your dream and their eyes glaze over.
or they laugh.
or they tell you to “be realistic.”
it’s worse than silence.
silence is just empty.
this feels like betrayal.
you start to replay it in your head.
if they don’t believe in me…
should I?
and here’s the part that hurts to admit—
a piece of you starts to agree with them.
because when it’s people you trust,
their voice doesn’t sound like “opinion.”
it sounds like truth.
but it’s not the truth.
their doubt isn’t about you.

it’s about their limits.
their fears.
their unhealed places.
some can’t picture it because they’ve never seen it.
some can’t picture you doing it because they’ve already decided what “you” are.
some love you so much, they’d rather see you stay small than risk losing you to something bigger.
it’s lonely when the people closest to you don’t see you.
and the danger is—you start disappearing from yourself too.
don’t.
you are allowed to believe in something no one else can see.
you are allowed to bet on yourself without anyone’s permission slip.
you are allowed to stand alone at the starting line.

because here’s the quiet truth—
when no one believes in you…
you learn how to believe in yourself in a way that can’t be shaken.
and when you finally get there—
they’ll say they knew it all along.
let them.
⚡ your challenge:
write this somewhere you’ll see it:
“i’m not here to be believed in. i’m here to be undeniable.”
then get to work.
you’re not alone.
you’re just early.
